Camila - Equipe Kizeo

« I have met passionate people both at a technological and human level … Kizeo is an incredible adventure, and it is international! What is my role? Making sure that you and my team are satisfied and happy to work with Kizeo.» Camila Mazas, Operational Manager.

My job

I joined Kizeo in 2013 and I am now the operational manager of the company.

What is my role? Conductor! Right hand of our CEO, I make sure that the day-to-day activities of the company go on track. I coordinate our different departments in order for them to communicate and work efficiently. I detect growing opportunities according to what happen every day in our company and I share them with our CEO.

My moto? The human factor! My daily motivation is to help my co-workers grow professionally taking into account their personality, to reveal their talents and develop collective intelligence.

My background

I graduated from a French University where I studied a bachelor degree that involves both foreign languages and business and then a Master in Management and Business Strategy with major in Marketing. I started working at Kizeo during an internship as a French-Spanish translator! I was immediately seduced by Kizeo’s identity and spirit. Then, I kept working there during my studies and I finally joined the team for a full-time contract when I graduated.

Besides that, I joined my father and brother in a family-owned business. We own a small vineyard in Suzette, in the south of France, where I work as much in the vineyard itself as in the office or attending trade fairs.

My favorite expressions

« A fat lot of good that does me… »
« An open mind doesn’t necessarily means a brain injury. »
« It doesn’t make any sense to hire smart people and then tell them what to do. We hire smart people so that they can tell us what to do. » Steve Jobs

My hobbies

To be honest with you, I change them every now and then! Right now, I am into yoga and climbing. I especially love traveling. My favorite trips are those that make me run away from winter in France to spend summer in sunny countries on the other side of the world. I love backpacking; I let myself being carried along by the people I met on the road. The only things I look for when I travel are the sea or the ocean, colors and simplicity.

My favorite movie? Edward Scissorhands. ;)
